A Joyful Easter Morning Together

Celebrating Food, Faith, and Fellowship

This Easter, we had the joy of gathering together for a truly special morning as we hosted our Easter Breakfast Service—and what a morning it was.

From the moment people began arriving, there was a warm sense of anticipation and community in the air. Tables were set, coffee was brewing, and before long, the room was filled with conversation, laughter, and the kind of connection that makes church feel like family.

We were delighted to welcome almost 40 people who joined us for breakfast. Plates were filled with a delicious spread of eggs, pancakes, bacon, and more, and it was a gift simply to sit together, share a meal, and enjoy one another’s company. There’s something powerful about gathering around food—it breaks down barriers and creates space for genuine connection.

But the morning was about more than just breakfast.

As we moved into the service, we were deeply encouraged by a personal testimony that reminded us of God’s work in real, everyday life. Hearing how faith intersects with personal experience brought a sense of authenticity and hope to the room.

This was followed by a thoughtful and engaging talk on the resurrection, helping us reflect on the true meaning of Easter. We were reminded that the resurrection of Jesus is not just a historical event, but a living reality that brings hope, renewal, and purpose into our lives today. And one day we believers will have a resurrected body just like Jesus did when he visited his disciples after his death.

To round off the morning, we had a question time, where people were invited to ask honest questions and explore the message more deeply. It was a meaningful time of discussion, curiosity, and openness—exactly the kind of space we want to cultivate as a church.

Looking back, this Easter Breakfast Service was a beautiful picture of what church can be:
a place of welcome, honesty, shared life, and deep hope.

We’re so thankful to everyone who came along, contributed, cooked, served, and took part. Events like this don’t just happen—they are the result of a community coming together with generosity and heart.

If you joined us, we hope you felt at home.
If you missed it, we’d love to see you at something coming up soon.

Easter reminds us that new life is possible—
and it’s even better when we experience it together.
